The beginnings of spring

Bonjour! These photo's are from last weekend. It was the first day of spring, so March 20th to be exact, and we wanted to be outside! We found this nice open park, tons of room to explore and take photo's. Nick tried showing me how to skip rocks, again. Yes, this was my second attempt, at failing horribly at it. He's a pretty good rock skipper. Now that i think of it, it was so warm last weekend now its gotten chilly, which is suppose to pass. I think by the end of this week its suppose to be back up in the 70's!

I feel like i got close to no sleep at all last night, which is weird because i know that i did. I even slept in today ( its one of my days off ) and for some reason i am exhausted. This might call for a nap.

on to other things,
i've been reading alot of  Rosemud  and kaity-deerly lately. Check these little ladies out!

Must haves

Lets talk about spring.. 

1. A denim high waisted belted skirt / dark blue is perfect with ..
2. A floral Chiffon blouse..
3. Satchel bag < - always.
4. The cutest brown loafers that i wish were on my feet.
5. ugh, this watch.... i have a feeling im going to end up buying it. 
6. Round tortious shell sunglasses are my favorite, i found the ones i always wear at a dollar store!

This outfit is puuurfect for spring, and really has all my must & wants in it. Im on the hunt for the perfect brown loafers, something similar to above. Any Suggestions ? / I love the satchel as well but i try not to use leather, so if you have suggestions throw them my way! Im pretty sold on that watch as well. I see it on my wrist in the very near future.

Spring equinox

Ok, so i found possibly the coolest furniture store. Restoration hardware... uhhhh..... they have desk as suitcases...the coolest chairs/shelves. I wish i had taken a picture of this cabinet i saw. Unnnf if only i were rich. Im sure some of this stuff is some what easy to replicate, but everything was so nicely pieced together as well. 

I just wanted to share these with you before i forgot i had them!

First of all, i hope everyone had as lovely as a weekend as i did. WHY? was fantastic. We actually got there a little late, and missed the opener which was Danielson, and missed about 10 minutes of WHY? but still really enjoyed their set. Sorry i don't have any pictures of their set, it was PACKED. I can tell you they do sound exactly the same as on record, which is always a good thing.

Saturday.. 

Was fun, we spent the day in the park and watch the sun and the ducks and geese, ate ice cream, talked about life.  Im so happy the weather is getting warmer and warmer. It's almost my favorite season, (spring). The cherry blossom's are blooming, and the sun is staying out later :333.  Tomorrow, i'll be posting pictures from today, and sharing some cool room styles! Personal update

 

Can i just start off by saying the weather has been unbelievably beautiful ?! ITS NOT EVEN REALLY OFFICIALLY SPRING YET. This type of thing is unheard of. We didn't even get snow this winter, which im SO thankful for, because the tri-state gets hit so hard usually every winter. It was a nice relief. Today is a bit chilly, but the weekend and the begging of next week looks really nice, back in the high 60's and low 70's !! I cannot wait for the cold to just be gone for good. In other news....

SO, for christmas Nick ( my boyfriend ) got me tickets to see WHY? with him ....

THE SHOW IS TOMORROW!!

Sorry for the delay on the post! I really really love those shorts. I have a few bills to pay off but i think after i get them out of the way ill be treating myself to a pair of those bright yellow stunna's. I also really really love the Focktober dress. It looks so well made, and its so pretty. I love the colors as well. I need to shop and check on modcloth more often! Anyways, hope everyone's weekend is super C:, im starting to smell summer in the air again. It makes me literally, so happy. What do you guys think of these picks? Warby Parker

Hello guys! So, maybe you've heard of them and maybe you havent. Warby Parker is an eyewear company located in a city (probably near you) for instance the two closest to me are in New York city, and in Brooklyn. Im pretty sure the company originated in Nyc! Which is pretty neat.  I am a contact wear-er, and i've always HATED glasses on myself. I have a really strong prescription so the lenses usually end up making my eyes look small. After a few years of just wearing contacts i decided ok, im going to have to suck it up and get a pair of glasses, i mean contacts can be so expensive, and changing them every so often i go through them like water. I wanted to get glasses that i knew i would wear not  just around the house when no one was looking but also out and coordinate them to whatever i was wearing.  Warby Parker has something called the "at home trial", where they send you 5 pairs of glasses,   of your choice, and if you cant decide on 5 they'll send you the remaining 3 that they think that you would like, and guess what they best part is........ITS COMPLETELY FREE. I mean COMPLETELY. They pay for the shipping and they pay for the shipping back, they don't charge you at all and you have five whole days to show them to your friends, family, blog about which ones you think would look the best on you! So i did this, and i picked out the pair you see on top which is Sinclair.

So i took a quick trip to the thrift store near my house and found this little gem, but nothing else seemed to windle me. What do you guys think? I was going for something darker, but i figured this was equally as good. 

Monday funday

Debating moving the site to Wordpress, What do you think ? ( i need to make or find a better layout, any suggestions ? ) // Also, today is 25% off at my favorite thrift store, hopefully ill find somethings and ill post pictures later! Its so beautiful outside, this makes me happy. I finally feel like spring is actually on its way, which it is! I hope everyone has a great monday! xoxo

I cant wait to have my own space to decorate. Granted, i love having a roommate now, and housemates but its very hard decorating and fixing up when each of our personal styles are all very different.
